A Little Life Update: Coffee, Consulting, Hyrox, Faith & What’s Next?

The past two months have been a whirlwind — the good kind. The kind where you can look back and say, “Wow… I really did that.” I’ve been building, refining, praying, planning, and pushing forward in ways that feel both challenging and deeply aligned with the woman I’m becoming. So I wanted to share a little glimpse into what I’ve been working on behind the scenes.

☕️ The Selene Retail Coffee Bags Are (Almost) Here!

This has been one of my biggest projects this fall — getting our brand-new Selene retail coffee bags ready to launch online for Black Friday. It has taken many late nights, lots of decision-making, and so much intention.

We’re launching light, medium, and dark roasts, available in:

Whole bean

Ground

K-cups

Everything is roasted to order, packaged on demand, and shipped straight to your doorstep — anywhere in the USA.

It feels like the next evolution of what The Selene has always been about: community, quality, movement, and giving people a moment to romanticize their morning wherever they are.

📈 Growing Social Revenue Lab

On the consulting side, I’ve been pouring into Social Revenue Lab, and it has been so fulfilling. I’m working with founders who truly want clarity, direction, and a revenue-first strategy for their business.

One of the projects I’m most excited for is partnering with a commercial broker who's building out a co-working space — helping him structure, position, and fill the space with the right tenants. It's a blend of operations, revenue strategy, and marketing… which is exactly where I thrive.

Every client reminds me why I created SRL: to help people build businesses that make sense, feel aligned, and actually work.

❄️ Winter Menu Prep at The Selene

Meanwhile… our winter menu at The Selene coffee shop is in full creation mode.

There is nothing like cozy lattes, cinnamon, caramel, holiday syrups, and warm drinks during the colder months.

We’re also in conversation with several local bakeries and businesses to bring in muffins, cookies, and treats that match the vibe — high-quality, aesthetic, and delicious enough to make someone smile during their morning walk.

It’s a fun season, and I’m excited for people to experience it.

🏋🏻‍♀️ I Ran My First HYROX Race

Chicago. HYROX.

Let me just say — it was the hardest thing I have done in a long time.

It pushed me mentally, physically, spiritually.

But crossing that finish line reminded me how strong discipline is, and how much joy comes from choosing something difficult and doing it anyway.

It’s definitely not my last HYROX!

💍 Pre-Marital Counseling & Putting God First

Stephen and I just finished a 9-week pre-marital counseling program, and honestly… it was such a gift.

We learned so much about communication, faith, love, and what it really means to build a Christ-centered marriage.

We also made a commitment to save ourselves for marriage — which isn’t easy in today’s world, but we deeply believe that obedience brings blessing. God has already honored this decision in our relationship, and I feel so much peace in it.

I’m grateful for growth, accountability, and the foundation we're building together.

🗓 Preparing My Goals for 2026

Right now, I’m in full reflection mode — figuring out what I want 2026 to look like.

What I want to:

Achieve

Release

Simplify

Build

Invest in

And become

I feel a shift happening — one that’s pulling me toward deeper creativity, clearer strategy, and more digital presence.

One of my biggest goals?

Leaning into YouTube in a real, consistent way.

I want to expand the conversations I’m already having — about entrepreneurship, faith, wellness, and lifestyle — into a platform that lets me connect more deeply.

2026 feels big. Clear. And intentional.

Closing Thoughts

Life has felt full… but in the best way. Between growing businesses, strengthening my faith, training my body, creating new products, serving clients, and preparing for a new season of life — I’m grateful for every step.

If you’re reading this, thank you for being a part of my journey.

There is so much more ahead.

Xo,

Alysse
